Goals and Research Plan
GOALS:- To support cultural preservation efforts to help promote world heritage for the benefit of scholars, teachers, students, and the general public.
- To offer a platform for the free exchange of ideas and knowledge.
- To help record the history of jewelry and beads, with special emphasis on making unique contributions to scholarship.
RESEARCH PLAN:
Ten steps we follow when analyzing examples of jewelry or beads:
- Who created this object, meaning which culture?
- When was this object created, meaning an estimated time period? And,
- Where was this object created, meaning a specific region of the world?
- Materials used to create object?
- Techniques used to create the object?
- Condition of the object, including any repairs or modification?
- Scientific Test Data, if available?
- Provenance or history of past ownership of the object?
- Collection Data, collected from public and private sources?
- Sources, including field data, publications and professional opinions?
